There was one gas station in cities across Pottawatomie County selling e15 gas at the lowest price of $3.49 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 7, according to GasBuddy.com.

There are five gas stations in cities within Pottawatomie County.

The average price of e15 gas in Kansas was $3.43, compared to $3.55 the week before.

The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.

The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.
