Cost of college went up for all students at Manhattan Christian College

Tuition and fees rose 5.5 percent for 2018-19 at Manhattan Christian College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas students paid $16,260 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $842 more than the $15,418 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 82 students received grants or scholarships totaling $719,282 and 66 students took out student loans totaling more than $543,000.

Including all undergraduates (232), 227 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.8 million, and 215 students took out $1.4 million in federal student loans.
