The City of Centralia has several ordinances pertaining to animals. The most popular one is RUNNING AT LARGE.
This ordinance pertains mostly to dogs off of a leash. If your dog is out running around Centralia, the city will pick it up and bring it to the Vet Clinic.
In order for the resident to get the dog back, all of the Vet fees and the City of Centralia fines will have to be paid in full.
The fines for the City of Centralia are $50 for the 1st offense, $100 for the 2nd offense and $200 for all third and anymore offenses of running at large.
Attached is a picture of a couple of dogs that were reported to be running at large this morning (Tuesday), yesterday (Monday) as well as Saturday in Centralia.
Please keep your animals on a leash in City Limits!
