On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Blue Valley High School standout Porter Starnes’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 10-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Truman State Bulldogs.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field against Emporia State Hornets.
