On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Blue Valley High School standout Porter Starnes’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 15-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Emporia State Hornets.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field against Emporia State Hornets.
