Friday, Feb. 28: Blue Valley High School standout Porter Starnes’ college team loses to Central Missouri Mules

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Blue Valley High School standout Porter Starnes’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, lost 11-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Central Missouri Mules.

The game took place at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field. This was their first matchup against the Mules this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field against Central Missouri Mules.
