Friday, March 14: Blue Valley High School standout Porter Starnes’ college team wins to Northwest Missouri State Bearcats

On Friday, March 14, former Blue Valley High School standout Porter Starnes’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their first matchup against the Bearcats this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field against Northwest Missouri State Bearcats.
