On Sunday, March 23, former Manhattan High School standout Owen Goode’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.

The game took place at Glennen Field. This was their third matchup against the Jets this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Larks Park against Fort Hays State Tigers.
