Friday, Feb. 28: Wamego High School standout Ashten Pierson’s college team wins to UC Santa Barbara Gauchos

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Wamego High School standout Ashten Pierson’s current college team, the Creighton Bluejays, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

The game took place at Campus Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Gauchos this season.

The Bluejays’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 9 a.m. at Campus Diamond against Saint Mary's Gaels.
