Tracey Mann, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 1st district since 2021, used his social media platform in early September 2025 to highlight recent legislative actions taken by the House GOP and President Biden’s administration. Mann’s posts focused on tax policy, support for working families, and measures benefiting rural communities and agriculture.
On September 5, 2025, Mann wrote: "Our @HouseGOP majority & @POTUS put working and middle class families first by:
Preventing the largest tax hike in decades
Doubling the Child Tax Credit
Expanding education savings accounts
This is what families in the Big First voted for."
Three days later, on September 8, he commented on economic issues facing Americans: "After four years of sky-high inflation and reckless government spending, @HouseGOP passed the largest tax cut for working- and middle-class families in decades.
I am proud that our pro-growth, pro-family legislation is helping Kansans keep more of their hard-earned money each"
Later that same day, Mann addressed policies targeting rural America: "Rural America trusted @POTUS and @HouseGOP to provide relief, & that’s just what we did. We put Kansas agriculture first by:
Updating reference prices to reflect today’s ag economy
Strengthening crop insurance for our farmers
Doubling investments in trade promotion"
Mann has represented Kansas's largely rural 1st district since succeeding Roger Marshall in Congress. He was born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and currently resides in Salina. A graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 2000, Mann has frequently cited his local roots when discussing agricultural policy.
