U.S. Congressman Tracey Mann, who represents Kansas’ 1st district, recently addressed several legislative and policy issues in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On September 16, 2025, Mann wrote about the role of Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) in prescription drug pricing: "Pharmacy Benefit Managers have driven up costs and hurt patients for too long. I cosponsored the PBM Reform Act to increase transparency in the industry and ban abusive drug pricing. This is a commonsense step to bring accountability to the prescription drug supply chain."
Later that day, Mann highlighted the importance of agricultural businesses to Kansas' economy. In a post dated September 16, 2025, he stated: "Grain handlers, feed processors, and ag suppliers are vital to Kansas' farm economy. I had the opportunity to speak with the @NGFA in Washington this week to share updates on our legislative priorities, including the ag wins we secured in July and the ongoing progress toward"
On September 17, 2025, Mann commented on fraud within government assistance programs: "Every instance of fraud or overpayment in the SNAP program is money taken from vulnerable families in our state who rely on this assistance to meet their nutritional needs. Kansans deserve a system that protects taxpayer dollars and serves the people it was designed to help."
Tracey Mann has served as U.S. Representative for Kansas’s 1st District since replacing Roger Marshall in 2021. Born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and currently residing in Salina, Mann graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
