Census Bureau: 68.7% of people in Geary County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 36,514 citizens living in Geary County in 2021, 68.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 25,067 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 13,474 were male, constituting 53.8%, and 11,593 were female, making up 46.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Geary County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 75.6%.
