U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) has condemned Iran and its proxies following ballistic missile attacks on Israel. In a statement, Rep. Mann emphasized the importance of U.S. support for Israel:

“America must unequivocally stand with and support our strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel,” said Rep. Mann. “For nearly a year, Iran and its terrorist proxies Hamas and Hezbollah have terrorized Israel, killing Israelis, launching missiles into Israeli territory, and holding innocent Israelis hostage after the October 7 attacks.

“No nation would tolerate this barbaric terrorism from neighboring countries, and neither should Israel. The world cannot afford for the Biden-Harris Administration to continue its weak appeasement strategy toward Iran or its waffling between standing with Israel and pleasing progressive activists. It hasn’t worked for the past three and a half years, and it won’t work now. The Biden-Harris Administration needs to make it clear now more than ever that the U.S. stands with Israel and that there will be severe consequences for any nation that harms our ally and friend.”

Rep. Mann's recent legislative actions include voting to advance the Israel Security Assistance Support Act in May 2024, supporting the Israeli Supplemental Security Appropriations Act in April 2024, and criticizing the Biden Administration’s approach to Iran following direct attacks on Israel by Iran.

In December 2023, Rep. Mann voted to freeze $6 billion in Iranian assets previously unfrozen by the Biden Administration in September of that year.

Following the October 7 attacks by Hamas on Israel, Rep. Mann voted for legislation affirming America's support for Israel's right to defend itself and supported additional appropriations to bolster Israel’s defense capabilities.

Rep. Mann is an active member of several caucuses including the Abraham Accords Caucus, the Israel Allies Caucus, and the Transatlantic Friends of Israel Caucus.
