On Friday, March 7, former Manhattan High School standout Owen Goode’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 18-11 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Maryville Saints.

The game took place at Weber Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Saints this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Weber Baseball Field against Hillsdale Chargers.
