U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) has voted to disapprove the Biden-Harris Administration’s U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) tailpipe emissions rule. This rule mandates automobile manufacturers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants by nearly 50% in vehicle fleets modeled from 2027 through 2032. According to the EPA, this would require two-thirds of new cars in the United States to be electric by 2032. The resolution, H.J. Res 136, passed in the U.S. House of Representatives with a vote of 215-191.
