A quick note to our farmers and business owners:
The Federal 2290 form for 2022-2023 is now available for processing and is REQUIRED for tag renewals for all power units tagged at greater than 54,000 pounds.
For quickest results, the form may be e-filed at https://www.irs.gov/e-file-providers/e-file-form-2290.
The IRS has a list of participating commercial software providers that they partner with. Each charges a processing fee and our office does not recommend use of a specific provider.
We also have FREE paper copies available in our office. Be advised that the paper version must be mailed in AND received back prior to renewing your vehicles in 2023. This process does take substantially longer, thus we encourage you to plan ahead.
