This week, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann extended his congratulations to Jedidiah Moody from Chapman, Kansas, on his appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. Rep. Mann had nominated Moody for this prestigious position in October 2024.

Rep. Mann expressed his pride in nominating students from the Big First district to the nation's service academies, describing it as one of his greatest privileges in Congress. "The men and women who attend our nation’s service academies are among the best and brightest," he stated. He further praised Jedidiah Moody for embodying the leadership tradition of the Big First and expressed confidence in Moody's ability to represent Kansas and serve at the academy. "Jedidiah reflects the best of the Big First’s proud tradition of leadership in our Armed Services, and I am confident that he will represent our state and serve our nation well at the U.S. Air Force Academy," said Rep. Mann.

Rep. Mann also thanked Jedidiah for his commitment to serving, protecting, and defending the republic, adding a congratulatory note on his appointment: "Congratulations again on your prestigious appointment!"
