U.S. Representative Tracey Mann, representing Kansas' 1st District, expressed his support for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill passed narrowly in the House with a vote of 215-214 on May 22, 2025.

For agricultural interests, particularly those in Kansas' Big First District, Rep. Mann mentioned support through crop insurance expansion and updates to reference prices. The bill also includes measures like expanding death tax exemptions to benefit family farms financially.

Investments are planned for modernizing air traffic control technology under the Federal Aviation Administration's oversight as part of maintaining American aviation standards.

The act addresses social safety nets by enforcing work or volunteer requirements for able-bodied adults without young children who receive benefits from programs like Medicaid and SNAP. According to Rep. Mann: "If taxpaying Americans can get up every day and go to work, why shouldn’t we ask the same thing of those who benefit from that generosity?"

Rep. Mann expressed hope that the Senate would act swiftly to advance the bill further toward becoming law: "I am hopeful that the Senate will move quickly to get it over the finish line."
