U.S. Representative Tracey Mann, representing Kansas's 1st congressional district, recently praised President Trump's efforts in the Middle East. Speaking on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mann commended the President for his actions aimed at maintaining peace through strength.

Over a recent weekend, President Trump and the U.S. military executed targeted strikes against Iran's nuclear enrichment facilities. The mission prioritized the safety of Americans and U.S. troops. Following these strikes, Trump successfully negotiated a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.

In his prepared remarks, Rep. Mann stated: "Mr. Speaker, thanks to the leadership of President Trump, America and the world are safer today than we were a week ago." He highlighted that Iran is no longer close to obtaining a nuclear weapon and has agreed to a ceasefire with Israel.

Mann continued by noting that previous administrations had set red lines without enforcing them effectively but credited Trump for taking decisive action instead: "Americans want peace through strength, and that is what President Trump is committed to."

According to Mann, for months Trump urged Iran to make an agreement while making it clear that Iran would not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons under any circumstances.

Reflecting on recent events, Mann emphasized Trump's resolve in protecting American interests: "This past week, President Trump showed that he is not willing to let America be strung along or taken advantage of." He further praised Trump's leadership in executing strategic strikes when necessary.

Rep. Mann expressed gratitude for the safety of American servicemen and women during these operations: "Audrey and I are grateful that our brave servicemen and women were not harmed in the strikes."

He concluded by offering prayers for ongoing safety and wisdom for President Trump as he continues working towards reducing tensions in the Middle East.
