Tracey Mann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 1st district since 2021, has been actively sharing updates on legislative developments and agricultural support through his social media platform. His recent posts highlight significant measures aimed at bolstering the state's economy and supporting its agricultural community.
On July 9, 2025, Mann shared insights into a legislative initiative known as "The One Big Beautiful Bill." According to Mann, this bill "strengthens Kansas" by making the tax cuts introduced in 2017 permanent, investing $60 billion in the farm safety net, and securing borders with funds allocated for building a wall. He emphasized that these actions by the House GOP and the President are aimed at protecting taxpayer dollars.
The following day, on July 10, Mann addressed challenges faced by agricultural producers due to fluctuating input and commodity prices. He stated that "The One Big Beautiful Bill reduces taxes on farmers by over $10 billion", which is intended to empower them as they continue their vital role in feeding, fueling, and clothing the world.
Later on July 10, Mann announced that the USDA had opened applications for $16 billion in aid for farmers who experienced crop losses due to natural disasters during 2023–2024. He noted that "Stage One of this assistance starts today", providing an essential resource for those affected.
Tracey Mann was born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and currently resides in Salina. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
