Tracey Mann highlights support for agriculture and education across Kansas

Tracey Mann, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Kansas’ 1st District, has recently highlighted several developments related to agriculture and education in Kansas through a series of posts on social media. Mann, who has represented the district since 2021 and resides in Salina, addressed issues affecting rural communities, agricultural producers, and workforce development.

On July 15, 2025, Mann stated that "The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers for rural America and our agricultural community. From lowering taxes to strengthening the farm safety net, the One Big Beautiful Bill empowers Kansas farmers, ranchers, and agricultural producers as they work to feed, fuel, and clothe the". The post emphasizes legislative efforts aimed at supporting those involved in agriculture across Kansas.

Later that day, on July 15, 2025, Mann noted his visit to a longstanding local cooperative: "For more than 110 years, Midway Cooperative has served north central Kansas farmers, ranchers, agricultural producers, and local communities. I toured their facilities in Mankato and had the chance to discuss the current grain markets, transportation infrastructure...". His remarks focus on both the history of Midway Cooperative and ongoing discussions about market conditions and infrastructure.

In another post from July 15, 2025, Mann addressed education initiatives: "Community colleges like Cloud County Community College are preparing the next generation of Kansas leaders, workers, and innovators for the future. I met with their leadership to talk about career and technical education...". He referenced meetings with college leadership regarding educational programs intended to strengthen workforce development opportunities.

Tracey Mann was born in Quinter in 1976 and graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in 2000. He succeeded Roger Marshall as representative of Kansas’s 1st District in Congress.
