Tracey Mann, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 1st district since 2021, shared updates on social media regarding his recent activities and policy positions between July 16 and July 17, 2025.
On July 16, Mann informed constituents of a schedule change for an event: "UPDATE: My telephone town hall has been moved to 5:30 PM CT tonight. Hope to hear from you!" This message aimed to keep residents informed about opportunities for direct communication with their representative.
Later that day, Mann addressed national energy policy following a visit to Bluestem Electric Cooperative in Clay Center. He stated on July 16: "America needs an all-of-the-above energy strategy that promotes American energy dominance, not Green New Deal policies that pick winners & losers. I visited Bluestem Electric Cooperative in Clay Center to talk about rural energy, grid reliability, and how federal policy impacts".
On July 17, Mann discussed agricultural legislation and its effects on Kansas producers. He wrote: "The One Big Beautiful Bill made historic investments in rural America by updating reference prices, expanding crop insurance, and cutting taxes on family farms. But Kansas producers still need a five-year, fiscally conservative Farm Bill that keeps American agriculture".
Mann’s statements reflect ongoing priorities for his district—energy independence and support for rural communities—issues central to Kansas’ largely agricultural economy. Born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and currently residing in Salina, Mann graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. He succeeded Roger Marshall as the congressional representative for the district beginning in 2021.
