Tracey Mann, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 1st district since 2021, addressed several key issues in a series of posts on his social media account this week.
On July 22, Mann highlighted the importance of soybeans to the region’s agricultural economy. He wrote, "Soybeans are essential to Kansas agriculture and the economic activity of the Big First. I met with @KsSoybean to discuss conservation programs, biofuel production, and trade policies that protect farm income and expand market access. Later that day, Mann issued a public safety notice regarding weather conditions affecting his district. In a post dated July 22, he stated, "Extreme heat is moving across the Big First over the next few days, with dangerous temperatures expected through midweek. Please take the proper precautions, stay hydrated, and check on your neighbors.

On July 23, Mann referenced legislative efforts aligned with former President Trump’s policy agenda. He posted: "The One Big Beautiful Bill codifies President Trump’s priorities while lowering taxes, securing the border, and reducing federal waste, fraud, and abuse.

Mann has represented Kansas's 1st District since replacing Roger Marshall in 2021. Born in Quinter in 1976 and currently residing in Salina at age 46, Mann graduated from Kansas State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
