Tracey Mann, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 1st district since 2021, addressed a series of policy issues in three posts on July 23, 2025.

In a morning statement, Mann claimed that recent legislative action by the House GOP prevented significant tax increases for Kansans. He wrote, "If @HouseGOP did not pass the One Big Beautiful bill, the average Kansan would pay an extra $2,200 per year in taxes to the federal government. Thankfully, we did not let that happen, and we cut taxes on tips and overtime while we were at it. That is what I call delivering for https://t.co/H9wCXM9Vxf" (posted July 23, 2025).

Later in the afternoon, Mann highlighted his efforts to support military families by co-sponsoring legislation aimed at expediting veteran burials and reducing bureaucratic delays. He stated: "Military Families shouldn’t be forced to wait weeks for closure because of red tape. I’m proud to cosponsor the Veteran Burial Timeliness and Death Certificate Accountability Act to ensure our nation’s heroes are laid to rest without unnecessary bureaucratic delays. This bill" (posted July 23, 2025).

In another post later that day, Mann thanked President Biden for progress made in national recovery efforts: "Thank you, @POTUS, for continuing to get our country back on track. Promises made, promises kept. https://t.co/JbqPxKDl9k" (posted July 23, 2025).

Mann has served as Kansas’ representative in Congress since replacing Roger Marshall in 2021 and resides in Salina after being born in Quinter in 1976. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
