U.S. Congressman Tracey Mann, who represents Kansas’s 1st district, has recently posted a series of statements on social media highlighting legislative developments and industry concerns relevant to his constituents.
On July 26, 2025, Mann wrote about new legislation, stating, "The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers the largest tax cut for working and middle-class families in American history while securing our southern border to keep Americans safe. This is common-sense legislation that helps Kansans keep more of what they earn."
A day later, on July 27, he praised National Beef following a meeting in Washington D.C., posting, "Born in Dodge City, National Beef provides quality beef that feeds people all across the world. We discussed innovation in beef grading, cattle markets, and ensuring fair competition across the beef sector during their recent visit to Washington, D.C.. Thank you, National Beef,"
On July 28, Mann addressed agricultural policy and state regulations: "States have the right to govern affairs within their borders, but the impact of Prop 12 extends far beyond California. The proposition not only threatens the livelihoods of Kansas hog farmers but also sets a terrible precedent for interstate commerce. @HouseAgGOP will not allow"
Tracey Mann has served as U.S. Representative for Kansas’s 1st District since 2021 after succeeding Roger Marshall. He was born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and resides in Salina. Mann graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
