Tracey Mann, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 1st district since 2021, has recently highlighted issues ranging from rural economic health to border security and Congressional internships in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.

On July 30, 2025, Mann emphasized the importance of rural communities and agricultural policy during a media appearance: "Rural America is the heartbeat of the country. I joined @OfficialRFDTV’s Champions of Rural America to talk about the state of the farm economy, the threat of New World Screwworm, and why animal health research and prevention must be top priorities."

A day later, on July 31, Mann reflected on his early experiences in Congress and welcomed new interns to his Washington office: "My first job in Congress was serving as an intern for a member from Kansas. I understand full well just how impactful the experience can be. This summer, I welcomed five exceptional interns to our Washington, D.C., office: Sage, Elizabeth, Walker, Nicholas, and Cadence. They"

Later that same day, Mann commented on federal immigration policy under President Trump: "In just six short months, President Trump has reversed four years of disastrous open border failures from the previous administration. In June, CBP saw historic low levels of illegal crossings and apprehensions at the border. This is the law and order Kansans voted for."

Mann's focus on rural issues aligns with his background; he was born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and currently resides in Salina. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mann succeeded Roger Marshall as representative for Kansas’ 1st district after Marshall left Congress in 2021.
