Mann’s focus on agriculture aligns with his background and constituency. Born in Quinter, Kansas in 1976 and currently residing in Salina at age 46, Mann graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. He took office after replacing Roger Marshall as representative of Kansas’ 1st District.
Kansas’ agricultural industry remains central to the state’s economy and identity. Legislation providing stability to farmers and ranchers is a recurring topic among its congressional delegation.
