Tracey Mann discusses legislative priorities for agriculture and energy

Tracey Mann, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’s 1st district, highlighted his legislative priorities and recent activities in a series of posts on X between August 22 and August 25, 2025.

On August 22, Mann described new legislation as a significant step for American families and agriculture. He wrote, "The One Big Beautiful Bill is the most pro-growth, pro-family legislation in a generation. Our legislation protects family farms, cuts taxes on Americans of all income levels, and supports our ag producers as they feed, fuel, and clothe the world."

Three days later, Mann discussed the importance of manufacturing to rural Kansas after visiting local businesses. On August 25 he posted, "Manufacturing plays a key role in rural economies across Kansas. I visited @OsborneInd and @StarSeedKS in Osborne to see firsthand how Kansas-made innovation is driving growth, creating jobs, and supporting our ag producers. Thanks for the conversations and for investing in https://t.co/AAsWSwlKoO"

Later that day he addressed energy policy at an industry event: "America needs an all-of-the-above energy strategy that unleashes energy dominance, strengthens the nation’s energy supply, and powers our lives without relying on foreign energy. Mann has represented Kansas’s 1st District since replacing Roger Marshall in Congress in 2021. Born in Quinter in 1976 and now residing in Salina, Mann graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
