2021 has 3.2% of Morris County residents unemployed

Morris County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 92 people out of the 5,377 living in Morris County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Morris County has increased compared to the 2.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Morris County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 2,745 people who had a job during that time, 23 were employed in the Armed Forces and 2,722 belonged to the civilian labor force.
