U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) concluded his annual 60-county Mann Listening Tour today in Manhattan, Kansas. Since his election to Congress, Rep. Mann has held at least one town hall in each county of the Big First District annually, totaling 246 town halls over four years.
“It is a privilege to fight for Kansans in the Big First in Congress,” stated Rep. Mann. “There are few things I enjoy more than meeting directly with Kansans and hearing the issues that are most important to them. Kansas is the pilot light of America, and it is my job to get to the middle of the issues that matter, have hard conversations, and get to work to ensure that light never goes out."
Throughout this year's tour, Rep. Mann reported hearing concerns from constituents about various national issues including border security, government spending, regulatory burdens, inflation, national debt, encroachments on freedoms, and actions by the Biden-Harris Administration. He remarked on Republican efforts to address these concerns through legislation aimed at reducing government spending, securing borders, protecting freedoms, and ensuring government accountability.
Rep. Mann concluded this year's tour with visits to Jackson and Jefferson counties. Over its course, he traveled a total of 3,818 miles across the Big First District.
